On April 2, 2012 celebrated RAAK Lab Informatics its 5 years anniversary. The company was founded in 2007 by Eric Kooij & Martijn van Raalte and started as a IT support provider for the laboratory market. The product portfolio ranged from consultancy to maintenance of Lab Data systems. Cooperating with the company LabFactor in 2009 added a successful software product line to the company and brought the dealership of Labtronics Software (Now Perkin Elmer). Also RAAK became dealer of Autoscribe and added LIMS platform  to it's portfolio.

Since the foundation RAAK had a close relationship with Da Vinci Europe laboratory solutions, a supplier of high-performance analytical solutions. To optimize the synergy and to be able to deliver total lab solutions RAAK joined the Da Vinci Europe Group in 2009. In 2011 RAAK extended the product portfolio with the drivers development for Chromatography Data System. This allowed RAAK to become the one source supplier of software, services and support in the field Laboratory Informatics. By offering both standard solutions and custom made products RAAK realizes laboratory automation projects in a cost effective and timely way.
