SimDist Reporter Software:

Simulated Distillation (SimDist) determines true boiling point distribution of petroleum streams using a gas chromatographic technique. The SimDist Reporter software developed by Da Vinci Europe provides a simple and robust way to optimize SimDist methods for either routine use or R&D purposes and assists analysts in creating the required reports. The SimDist Reporter software complies with all standard test methods of ASTM, DIN, IP and ISO standard methods for SimDist and is compatible with the chromatographic data systems from major suppliers.   The SimDist reporter software includes a wide range of calculation & report options:

• Distribution tables: Mass versus BP or BP versus Mass
• Alkane profile (ASTM D5442) report Correlation reports: D86, D1160, Flash point, MOV or NOACK
• Customizable D86 and D1160 correlation
• Reports of chromatograms, distribution curves and cut points
• Quality report to validate the analysis
• Special option merges SimDist with DHA Front End analysis results

Detailed Hydrocarbon Analysis (DHA):

Detailed Hydrocarbon Analysis (DHA) determines the individual components in petroleum streams using a gas chromatographic technique. The Detailed Hydrocarbon Analysis Reporter software of Da Vinci Europe complies with all ASTM, DIN and EN methods for DHA application and is compatible with the chromatographic data systems from major suppliers.

The DHA reporter software uses a dedicated database that includes predefined sample presets to identify the individual components. The software assists operators in creating the required reports such as:

• Peak reports with time, calculated index, name, area, weight% and volume%
• PIONA reports of all found group types versus carbon number in weight%, volume% and mol%
• TBP reports of true boiling point distribution in °C or °F in weight% or volume%
• D86 reports based on correlating TBP to D86 values using STP 577
• Chromatogram including the peak labels
• Table of properties:
• Reid Vapor Pressure
• Specific Gravity
• Research Octane Number and Motor Octane Number
• Gross and Nett Heat of Combustion of liquid
• Bromine Number
• Export of TBP data for SimDist Merge
