Foundation

The company founded in 2007 by Eric Kooij & Martijn van Raalte, started as a IT support provider for the laboratory market. The product portfolio ranged from consultancy to maintenance of Lab Data systems.

Product range

Several successful implementations of own developed sample registration software projects and providing custom made solutions. Cooperating with the company LabFactor in 2009 added a successful software product line to the company and brought the dealership of Labtronics Software (Now Perkin Elmer). Also RAAK became dealer of Autosribe and added LIMS platform  to it's portfolio.

Da Vinci Europe Group

Since the beginning RAAK had a close relationship with Da Vinci Europe laboratory solutions, a supplier of high-performance analytical solutions. To optimize the synergy and to be able to deliver total lab solutions RAAK joined the Da Vinci Europe Group in 2009. In 2010 the Da Vinci Europe Group was expanded with the companies iDQuest and TransGlobal Distributors.

iDQuest, founded and managed by Jantine Dirksen, provides software applications for controlling laboratory processes in the Life Sciences, HealthCare, Forensic and Analytical Chemical segments.

TransGlobal Distributors, established and managed by Deborah Burton, represents reputable international Manufacturing organizations, whose products provide unique solutions for complex analytical problems, and offer them comprehensive Sales and Support channels on a world-wide base. 

Willem van Raalte, CEO of the DVE Group, states:”It has always been our goal to offer customers high performance analytical solutions, not just products. Driver Development

In 2011, after a reogranization within the Da Vinci Europe Group, RAAK became the IT company within the group. The driver development department was added to RAAK.

Anniversary

In April 2012 RAAK celebrated its 5th Anniversary. As one of the founders Martijn van Raalte is very proud and states: "By adding the drivers development to our current portfolio we are now able to serve our customers with both standard products and customized solutions. This allows us to boost laboratory informatics!"
